We are now recruiting a Sr. webMethods Programmer Analyst to join the Information Technology team at our corporate offices in Santa Clarita, CA (just north of Los Angeles).
Responsibilities
Working within the Information Technology group, the Sr. webMethods Programmer Analyst oversees development and provides support to the Shipboard Systems and related supporting systems fleet wide. Specific duties will include:
* Performs analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of
webMethods solutions.
* Maintains/develops webMethods applications.
* Works with the development team to integrate software/applications with Mainframe systems and various internal applications.
* Maintains and expands webMethods application interfaces.
* Maintains new application documentation.
* Troubleshoots performance issues.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in progressively responsible positions working with middleware solutions on integration projects.
* Minimum of 4 years webMethods experience.
* Expertise in performance tuning; advanced SQL skills; strong database experience.
* Advanced XML knowledge. Experience with SOAP, HTTP and related protocols.
* Experience working with the Siebel development environment.
* Solid understanding of and experience with the entire project lifecycle.
* Excellent analytical skills - including gathering, compiling, and documenting user functional and/or system technical requirements or specifications.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
* Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
* Ability to be on-call in support of a 24/7 team.

Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work a schedule that provides you with one day off every two weeks. During each two-week pay period, employees in this department typically work four nine-hour days plus one weekday off, and four nine-hour days and one eight-hour day.
