This is a great opportunity to enhance your career. We are looking to appoint a Sous Chef to join the team at one of our high profile venues based in London. With excellent craft skills, you will lead the kitchen operation to ensure the efficient preparation of good quality food as per company standards and current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the preparation and presentation of quality food for volume set menu and a la cart banqueting.
- Provide hands on management of the kitchen team to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- To manage all aspects of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Assist the Head Chef in the planning and reviewing of menus, stock control and the improvement of food quality.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within volume banqueting or a restaurant product.
- Excellent managerial skills and experience of supervising in a kitchen environment
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Industry acumen and knowledge of food developments and innovations
- Good financial awareness
- Personal innovation and passion for quality food and service
- Experience of working on cruise ships or Boats is essential
