Job Title: Senior Cost Management Analyst

We are now recruiting a Senior Cost Management Analyst to join the Fleet Personnel team at our corporate offices in Santa Clarita, CA (just north of Los Angeles).
Responsibilities
* Extracts and analyzes financial data including: actual versus budget, current and prior year forecasts and variances.
* Reviews monthly forecasts and recommends forecast changes/course corrections and makes necessary adjustments.
* Analyzes variances and ensures resolutions are implemented.
* Identifies cost impact of multi-currency transactions.
* Develops metrics for various aspects of Fleet Personnel.
* Develops ad-hoc financial schedules as needed.
* Works with Managers and Directors to produce proper budget allocation.
* Determines negative/positive cost factors and reports to Cost Manager for further review.
* Monitors General Ledger activity and recommends corrections as needed.
Requirements
* Completion of four year college degree, (preferably in Accounting or Finance) or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of 4-6 years of finance/accounting experience in a business environment.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work a schedule that provides you with one day off every two weeks. During each two-week pay period, employees in this department typically work four nine-hour days plus one weekday off, and four nine-hour days and one eight-hour day.
