Job description
We are inviting applicants to attend an organized RECRUITMENT FAIR for an expanding Luxury Cruise Line Company that is looking to recruit a Restaurant Manager/Maître d’ Hotel.
- Reports to the Hotelmanager
- Overall supervisory responsibility for all food and beverage services including all food outlets and bars
- Scheduling, minimize overtime, evaluating work performances according with the company’s policies
- Cooperating with the Executive Chef (maintain good relations between the Galley and the Dining Room Staff in order to provide quick, efficient service)
- Arranges table assignments and handles dining requirements of guests
- Guest complaint management, public relations with guests
- Organizing events such as birthdays and anniversaries.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding the budget for the revenue/sales of wine/beverages in all areas supervised
- Ensures that all objectives in the Food & Beverage area meet target
- Oversees that the highest level of sanitation is maintained throughout the areas supervised
Job Requirements:
- completed studies in recognized European hotel schools or universities or equivalent
- minimum of three years professional experience as Assistant / Maître d’Hotel or any F&B Middle Management Position aboard an international 5*rated cruise line enterprise or equivalent ashore
- solid experience with international clientele, service-minded and quality-orientated person
- perfect written and spoken English knowledge, any additional language skills are advantageous
- valid C1/D Visa and STCW 95 certificate
- strong organizational skills
- strong leadership and motivational skills, including ability to train in an efficient way
- having strong socializing skills for building interpersonal relationships with guests
- Ability to understand, analyze and interpret financial results
- Completion of Advanced/Intermediate Food & Hygiene
