Marketing Copy & Content Coordinator

The successful Marketing Content Coordinator will provide clear, effective and engaging marketing messages and content in an effort to maximize revenue for all brands/cities/vessels. Essential Functions: Provide copy files for all internal marketing projects including radio scripts, advertising, direct mail, sales collateral, tradeshow materials, promotions, email marketing, online and web initiatives. Supports and maintains all brand identities and positions through promotional and marketing messages by using tones and descriptors as defined by graphic standards guidelines. Develops and maintains clear, accurate consistent messages that are on-strategy. Proof-reads and edits all marketing projects, materials and print proofs as needed during production process. Works with other functional areas such as revenue and ecommerce to provide cruise and promotional copy as needed. Perform regular and ongoing site audits to ensure accuracy, relevance and effectiveness of web page content, utilizing SEO understanding. Develops promotional ideas that will drive demand and interest in cruise products in order to achieve company revenue goals. Support Social Media Communication as appropriate including but not limited to facebook promotions, twitter feeds, online review sites, and blogs. Write and publish online/web listings on specified websites for additional cruise publicity. Monitor presence, activity and reputation on Online Review sites such as Yelp, Tripadvisor and Citysearch, to include reviewing new postings, crafting responses, tabulating and reporting on overall review scores. Oversee Entertainment Cruises blog updates to include story idea development, story writing and coordinating with others to implement. Performs within designated production systems, deadlines and budgets. Collaborate with external strategy/creative partners as needed. Participates and assists with internal communication. Any other special projects as assigned that could include research, special creative projects, brainstorming or others. Accountabilities: The successful Marketing Content Coordinator will be indispensable in the attainment of the team’s revenue targets, will personally contribute to creation of an unforgettable guest experience, will be favorably viewed by supervisors and peers, and will be swift and efficient in the execution of their assigned duties. Performance will be measured by revenue achievement, departmental tests, management evaluation, and feedback from peers on the city’s team. Job Specifications / qualifications: Ÿ Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design or a related field preferred Ÿ Minimum of 3 years in copywriting experience in marketing or ad agency environment Ÿ Knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop, CMS and html helpful. Ÿ Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-pressure environment Ÿ Possess organizational and communication skills, both oral and written Ÿ Work independently, with a supervisor and as a team Ÿ Be detail oriented Ÿ Be proactive in developing new ideas and initiatives Ÿ Identify problem areas and offer solutions.
