Job Description

Working hands-on with different equipment in the Laundry on board a cruise ship, you will assist in washing / pressing linen from different departments on board. Duties and responsibilities include

• Processing Passenger laundry as per requests. This will include pressing, dry cleaning and laundering

• Process F&B and Accommodation linen such as tablecloths, tablemats, napkins, bed sheets, pillow cases etc

• Launder uniforms of different departments on board including boiler suits

• Assist in conducting linen and uniform inventories

Eligibility

Minimum SSC (10th grade) from a recognized board of education. Minimum 1 year of experience in the Laundry department of a 5 Star hotel, commercial laundries or cruise ships.

You should possess sound knowledge and working experience on industrial laundry machines, including washer extractors, calendars, steam press, foam finishers, etc. Knowledge and expertise in the use of chemicals in the laundry will be essential.
