This position is responsible for: Monitoring the opening, closing, safety and volume of the Mickey slide and pool, children and families in the family pool and general activity around the pool areas. Monitor all recreation spaces including Wide World of Sports desk, Ping Pong, Shuffle board areas ensuring supplies and equipment are available; set-up and/or replenish as needed. Assist in sale of shore excursions while sometimes escorting a Port Adventure as Disney representative as required. Monitor the integrity of our adult only areas and assist in monitoring the noise and activities of groups of children congregating around the ship. Perform hosting responsibilities such as, but not limited to entrance to show lounge and Walt Disney Theatre. Monitor snorkel lagoon and all other water areas, as needed on Castaway Cay.

Required experience: Minimum two years experience in a lifeguard capacity, in a pool or open-water setting; high volume environment. Previous experience in recreation, camp or activity center, catering to all ages. Proven experience working in a sales or Guest services environment. Ability to pass and maintain the lifeguard training and Aquatic Rescue Professional certification (conducted upon arrival) including swimming 100 yards in 1 minute and 50 seconds or less. Previous experience with boats, snorkel equipment, or other recreational equipment, desired. Good computer skills and operational knowledge.
