JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the management and operation of the ship’s Hotel Department in compliance with Disney Cruise Line and regulatory requirements. Administering the Company’s Hotel Department Annual Operating plan. Providing leadership and direction for all hotel operations on the ship to include Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry Concession, Merchandise, Photography Concession and Spa Concession. Investigating/resolving Guest complaints.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years experience in a Hotel Management leadership position of a large international cruise ship or land-based hotel; ship experience strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree (or International Equivalent) in Hotel Management or Business Administration. Thorough understanding of USPH standards; CDC Vessel Sanitation certificate preferred. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; proven leadership skills, especially in the areas of team building, innovation, communication, and service delivery; experienced in providing leadership to a multi-cultural workforce. Thorough understanding of financial and budgetary responsibilities; ability to analyze and interpret P&L and other financial statements.
