Job Description

A supervisory level position in the Accommodation department on board the cruise ship, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of passenger cabins and the public areas. Your duties include

• Supervising a team of approximately 50 Cabin Stewards and an equal number of Assistant Cabin Stewards

• Ensuring stringent housekeeping standards as per company policy are maintained in the passenger cabins and public areas

• Handling passenger queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensuring all maintenance problems are reported to the concerned department and proper follow ups of the same

• Conducting periodic training sessions for subordinates

• Participate in team meetings and contribute effectively in team briefings

Eligibility Diploma / degree in Hotel Management from a recognized institution with a minimum 2 years experience in supervisory / management positions in the Housekeeping operations of reputed 5 Star hotels or cruise ships.

Excellent communication skills coupled with proven leadership skills and a high level of motivation is a pre requisite for this position.
