Some Cruise Managers (local language speakers) can work this entire period. Other Cruise Managers (Native English speakers) can work on a 90-day Croatian work visa from either (1) May to end of August or (2) end of June to end of September. Based in Croatia this is a live-onboard role on our boats. You will have a strong leadership background through your experience in previous guiding cruise boat roles. You will be responsible for customer relations onboard our Navigator boats (21-35s. You will be working as a team of cruise managers and our captains crews to resolve issues and make our customer experience as enjoyable as possible. You will be responsible for representing Sail Croatia at the very face of the business Welcoming customers from when they first come onboard resolving any problems they encounter on their journey assisting with injuries and accidents maintaining health and safety onboard ensuring the standard and quality of the product are exceeding customer expectations and reporting to head office. Key Responsibilities Customer Service and Relations Organisation of excursions and day tours Coordination of captains crews Key Requirements Tour Leader Cruise Experience Highly Organised Excellent Communication Verbal & amp Written Proficient in Ms Office programmes including Excel Word and Outlook Beneficial but not essential Croatian language skills Either Native English speaker (preferably Aus Nz UK Ire) with Croatian ex-Yugoslav heritage Or Native Croatian Bosnian Serbian speaker with excellent English Salary Negotiable depending on experience. Start at £800 per month plus accommodation breakfast lunch onboard commission and end-of-season performance bonus. Positions to be confirmed in Jan Feb in order to comply with pre season visa and permit regulations for Croatia which Sail Croatia will provide. Preference will be given to UK Nz Aus passport holders for the 90-day positions due to the nature of these visa applications. Bus Tour Managers x 2 Starting April 2011 to October 2011 Based in Croatia Slovenia and Bosnia this challenging but highly rewarding position is a guiding role leading small groups of travellers (approx. 10 16) of various ages (21-45) on our Balkan Road Trips routes through Croatia Bosnia and Slovenia. You will be responsible for representing Sail Croatia and the Balkan Road Trips brand as the face of the business Welcoming guests onto the mini-buses guiding the tours with entertaining and informative commentary both on the bus and in the locations leading the groups to accommodation and assisting with check-in presenting and selling excursions resolving any problems they may encounter on their journey and ensuring the standard and quality of the product are exceeding customer expectations and reporting to head office. There will be some degree of flexibility and adaptability required in this role as the guides will be expected to lead different routes and possibly work onboard our boats simply to ensure that the role is a diverse one.
