Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* The Culinary Trainer delivers a variety of professional, quality culinary training programs in accordance with the training materials and operational standards of the company
* Partners with the senior culinary team onboard to support the culinary operation, assess individual culinary skills, support crew member training and development and readiness for the culinary environment.
* Fulfill the duties and responsibilities of an Executive Chef at any given time
Job requirements
* Minimum of five years experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred)
* Culinary school degree required
* Knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques such as needs analysis, learning theory, and group and individual training techniques
* Ability to multi-task and remain organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees in a consistent and timely manner
