* Salary: Depending on experience starting at £3000UK TAX FREE monthly
Job Description:
• Role: 3rd Engineer
• With: A fabulous 5* Cruise Line company
• Start Date: Immediate
• Salary: Depending on experience starting at £3000UK TAX FREE monthly
• Contract: Circa 3 months on and 1.5 months off
• Berthing: Single

Role Overview
• Engaged in watch-keeping duties and maintenance duties in the engine room on a rotational basis with other 3rd Engineer Officers
• Control and maintenance of passenger services equipment (i.e. fresh water, sanitary systems, electrical supplies, HVAC, swimming pools etc)
• Socialising and mixing with guests in a courteous manner as required
• Offer technical support to Passenger Services and Deck Departments as required to ensure our exceptionally high standards of customer care are maintained
You The 3rd Engineer
You The 3rd Engineer will have experience of working onboard a Cruise Liner or similar vessel already.
You will also be able to evidence certificates showing the following:
• CEC and OOW
• MNTB Fire Fighting Certification
Ofcourse you will be eligible for issue of a United States C1/D Visa and the knowledge and experience of modern marine plant, ideally onboard cruise liners. Your IT Skills will be good, and with the ability to manipulate modern Windows based packages. You will have a positive attitude to embrace the HR function and the ability to work as part of a large team, and take responsibility for own actions. Your interpersonal skills will be excellent in dealing with both internal and external customers (yes, you will be asked to host tables, attend passenger events and more!) You will have a real commitment to own career development, with a desire to progress to higher ranks.
